EXPERIENCE

First, a traineeship and career at Siemens AG HQ Munich and Siemens Ltd. Thailand. After that came China both in theory and practice: Kathrin studied Sinology and History at LMU Munich and lived in Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei and even braved the Chinese countryside for a time. Since 2008 she has been working for an IT Consultancy firm on international projects. Firstly as an SAP CO Consultant, then in Project Management.

Kathrin’s professional resume includes disruption and twists. She knows about making a departure from an apparently safe career path. She is experienced in professional decision-making and walking the talk. Hence, when it comes to putting work plans into action and career development, Kathrin’s clients find her to be an excellent sparring partner.

Kathrin brings two worlds together: On the one hand the solution-oriented thinking of a business economist and project manager. And on the other hand the open and experimental approach of a Sinologist. Acknowledging complexity, whilst taking a steady approach is Kathrin’s renowned proceeding.

When it comes to an international assignment, Kathrin’s core preoccupation is the wise use of resources and potential. Her log-book method for expatriates and returning secondees makes a wealth of experiences accessible and applicable.
